Blog Hoppin' It Around! (3)

Book Blogger Hop

I am hopping in here today to post my weekly blog hop participating badges and stuffs. I am sitting here at a hospital cafe with a keyboard beyond ancient determined to keep some sense of normalcy to my life. I have a coffee to make sure I actually stay awake through this post too. Kiddos are glued to the lobby helping the nurses decorate the hospital tree so they are so what content. If your wondering why I am at the hospital, last night after our thanksgiving dinner, my husband damaged a hernia he's had for the past five years. With all the tests they are doing and head shakes, it looks like he has also damaged  his intestines. Surgery is in the near future...Sigh....... Please keep him in your prayers.

So in order to keep the blog hopping...no pun intended ;-)...here is this weeks question from the blog hop hosted by Crazy For Books.

"What is your favorite book cover?"

Oh, no! I have to pick one! Okay, I can do this. It would have to be Fireside by Susan Wiggs. This cover stood out to me for various reasons when it came out last year and currently sits on my desk in audio format.

I was struggling through the holidays because I miss the festive season and how it is celebrated in the United states. When I saw this cover it brought me peace and the story was just as touching. I sat for hours staring at the cover imagining the beautiful backdrop of pine trees blanketed in fluffy white snow. The house is just what I would imagine for myself too. This cover is definitely a balm for my soul.

Oh, don't forget to download your free holiday cookbook up by the header and if you are an author, please check out our Membership area. I hope you like what I've been able to put together for you! Tomorrow felicity Heaton will be stopping in and giving away one bundle of her Her Angel Series to one lucky commenter.

  3. That is a beautiful cover. I really believe my latest cover for THE TEXAN'S IRISH BRIDE is my favorite of any I've seen. I love Christmas books, though. Best wishes to your husband for a speedy recovery--and to you for being the care giver.
