Blog Hoppin' It Around! (7)

Book Blogger Hop

IF YOU ARE A NEW FOLLOWER PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
I WILL RETURN THE FAVOR!

This is my seventh blog hop hosted by Crazy-For-Books.com and Parajunkee's View Join in on the fun or click here to visit book bloggers to meet new friends, discover great books and just have some fun! Unfortunately I missed the chance to get my link in on the linky list! I forgot it was Friday! Oh well, I'll still be visiting the blogs. So here is the question from Crazy - For - Books:

"Why do you read the genre that you do?  What draws you to it?"

This is not to hard of a question for me and it goes back to last weeks question a little. I love reading romance because I enjoy reading about two people - the hero and heroine - coming together by the end of the book. The journey of how they over come all the obstacles the author throws at them and still have a happily-ever-after ending is for me exciting. It reminds me that while I might be reading a book, the world is still filled with good all round me. Now when I am reading paranormal romance - or writing it for that matter - I enjoy escaping into a world were love can better even stronger odds than what is presented in the mundane world around me.

This weeks question from Parajunkee's:

Who do you cheer for?

I have a feeling everyone just might gasp at my answer and I am a little embarrassed to say it but here goes....I don't have a team! Not one! I know weird huh*shoulder shrug* But I grew up in a football loving family. My brothers and uncles played for high school and my cousin got a scholarship for his playing abilities, but that is it. Now, I did cream my neighbor hood friends when we played tackle football as children. Wait, I got off topic there for a minute. Sorry! Back to the question, if I had to choose a team to cheer for it would be the Steelers!

While you're here and if you have a minute, please check out Susan Roebuck's author interview below. She's giving away two copies of her book to two lucky commentators!

Until Next time...Happy Reading!
