This Is a Free, Public Domain Image Wishing All a Happy New Year With Champagne, a Clock About To Strike Midnight and a NASA Space Them To Welcome the New Year
The year is off to a good start for Bookin' It. I am proud to announce that I closed out the year with 17,965 page views and a steady number of over 500 daily visits since opening Bookin' It in July of 2010! That is a hell of a lot of readers out there and I want to thank you all for making Bookin' It so loved! I really enjoy reviewing books and talking shop with all the authors that stop in. You are all the best!!!

I have many reviews lined up for this month along with author interviews and giveaways for everyone that stops in and chats a spell. For all the curious folks here is the low down on the books for review.

1. The Lust Boat by Roz Lee ~ Available today! Here's a snippet of my review:
The author was not kidding when she said this cruise is not your grandparents cruise. The Lust Boat was one erotic scene after another that made your senses and imagination run wild. I loved it. While the author surrounded Candace with people living out their fantasies, it was so very sensual and even erotic in itself to follow how Candace and Ryan fell in love.
You can continue reading my review HERE or go straight to the buy page HERE. Don't forget to visit Roz Lee's website to find out when more of her books will be available!

2. Death's Sweet Embrace ~ Book 2 of the Dark Brethren Series by Tracey O'Hara ~ Review Available Jan. 10th! Book Available Jan 25th!Here is the book blurb to tease you a bit about the second book in the Dark Brethren Series:

After thousands of years of secret conflict, humans and parahumans have reached an uneasy truce. But unspeakable evil now threatens to shatter the tenuous peace.
Teenaged shapeshifters are being slaughtered by a twisted, sadistic serial killer who rips their still-beating hearts from their paralyzed bodies. A task force must be formed to halt the madness—a union of avengers including the vampiric Aeternus, Christian Laroque and Antoinette Petrescu, as well as Kitt Jordan and Raven Matokwe, members of enemy Animalian tribes…and forbidden lovers.
A centuries-old blood feud has divided their peoples—pitting wolf against snow leopard in a battle to the death—and if their passion is discovered it will doom them both. But past hostilities must be put aside in light of the scourge that is now upon them. For the killer they seek is but the first sign of a blossoming terror rising up from their long-buried pasts: the all-consuming nightmare of The Dark Brethren.

4. Perfect Score by Susan Roebuck ~ Review Available Jan 14th! Book Available Now HERE. Here is the blurb for Perfect Score just for you:

Feckless, exasperating Alex Finch is a rich, handsome and talented singer/songwriter who longs for two things: a career as a professional rock singer, and to have his love for Sam Barrowdale reciprocated. But drifter Sam's two aims are simply to earn enough money to pay his sister's medical bills and to hide from the world his reading/writing and speech disability. At this time the word "dyslexia" is generally unknown so to most people he's just a "retard". From the severe knocks life's dealt him, Sam's developed a tough outer coating and he has no time for a spoilt, selfish guitar player.
Despite his defects, Alex's love for Sam never wavers and when Sam unexpectedly disappears, Alex begins a somewhat bungling quest to find him, only to discover that Sam has a fearful enemy: Alex's powerful and influential yet sociopathic uncle.
As Alex spirals downwards towards alcoholism, many questions need answering. Just why did Alex's evil uncle adopt him at age eleven yet deny him any affection? And what's the mystery behind Alex's father's death?
Both seem to face unbeatable odds. Are they doomed to follow separate paths forever?
5. Collateral Damage ~ Book 1 of the Silent Warrior Series by J.L.Saint(aka Jennifer St. Giles & Jennifer Saints) ~ Review Available Jan 20! Book Available Now HERE or HERE Read the blurb below for Collateral Damage, but be careful, it will make you want the book ASAP! Read an excerpt HERE.

One thing makes Jack Hunter invaluable to his Delta Force Team. The same trait that makes him suck at relationships. Single-minded focus on his career—and honing his ability to never miss a kill.
After a terrorist missile devastates his team and leaves him with only partial memory of a FUBARed rescue mission, he retains only one clear picture no one believes: the last face in his gunsight belonged to a prestigious American businessman. The man’s wife has to know something, but the only way to get to her is go AWOL.
After her husband trades his family to tango with double-Ds, Lauren Collins decides her dogs are better judges of character. She’s unaware how far her soon-to-be-ex’s web of deceit reaches—until the only thing between her, her sons and a killer is a wounded Delta soldier who activates her sorely neglected X-chromosome like nobody’s business.
Their instant attraction is kryptonite to Jack’s injury-dulled edge. Thrust into a world of peril, political treachery and treason, Lauren has no choice but to trust Jack with her life. Even if she and her sons survive, she’s not sure her heart will…
 6. Wild Irish ~ Book 1 in the Weldon Series by Jennifer Saints (aka Jennifer St. Giles & J.L. Saint) ~ Review Available Jan 28th! Book Available Now HERE. Wild Irish is a Graphic Ebook, check it out, I think you will love it as much as I do. Here is the blurb:

Now he's back in Savannah with his highly successful security company to put the Weldon name on the right side of the tracks. Unfortunately, before he can even make a move in that direction, he runs into Alexandria Jordan and ends up making the same mistake he did before. He succumbs to her allure, but this time, he plans on getting her out of his system for good and walking away.

But a Wedding Day betrayal from her blue-blooded fiancé has her running from her life and right into the arms of the man she'd never forgotten, Jesse. Yet as she forges a new future for herself amid the scandal of her aborted wedding, Alexi finds herself the target of a twisted killer and both her and Jesse's days are now numbered.

7. Smooth Irish ~ Book 2 in the Weldon Series by Jennifer Saints (aka Jennifer St. Giles & J.L. Saint) ~ Review Available Feb 4th! Book Available Now HERE. Like Wild Irish, Smooth Irish is also a Graphic Ebook with quality pictures that accompany the story throughout the book. Check out the Blurb below:

Four years ago a tragedy made Jackson Weldon turn his back on life. He wanted nothing more than doing a gig with his guitar every now and then to put a sandwich on his plate and gas in his tank. But a few dates with Nan Miller several months ago had him finally wanting something more. Her in his bed. Only she walked before that happened and his hunger for her alone has grown until he can't think of anything but her.
Nan has lived her life by a plan and she isn't about to mess it up by getting involved with a man going nowhere. That's why she walked out on Jackson, seventy one days ago. Only, she can't get him out of her mind or escape him in her dreams, night or day. So when he comes riding in on his Harley again, she wonders if she should take him up on his offer for an uninhibited weekend. But their no strings ride leads them both to an end that changes everything they ever believed they wanted or deserved out of life.

Awesome line-up right! I can't wait dig into every single book above. Thank goodness for the deadlines because it's hard to choose just which one to read first. ;-)
