Book Flick Feature (2)

Today's Book Flick Feature is highlighting book six of Rachel Vincent's Shifter series titled Alpha. I've chosen this book flick for its style and the exact depiction of the book itself. I also picked this trailer for the talent and hard work it showcases. As a digital designer I understand the tedious work that goes into the creation of a book flick of this caliber. The one annoying flaw that is shared in most trailers in the misrepresentation of the book. This is not true for today's pick. I found that this book flick hit all the highlights without giving spoilers and delivered an entertaining piece of media that really caught my attention.

So with out further delay here's today's Book Flick Feature:

YOU’VE GOT TO HAVE FAYTHE…
The unscrupulous new Council chair has charged Jace, Marc, and me with trespassing, kidnapping, murder, and treason. Yeah, we’ve been busy. But now it’s time to take justice into our own hands. We must avenge my brother’s death and carve out the rot at the heart of the Council.
It’s not going to be easy, and loss seems unavoidable, but I have promised to protect my Pride, no matter what. With a target on my back and Marc at my side, I’m heading for a final showdown that can—that will—change everything forever.

Because they are being used more and more by authors and publishers, I  often wonder how many readers actually buy a book after watching a book flick. What do you think? Do book clips grab your attention? Did this one intrigue you enough to check out the book? Do you buy books based on the book flick?
