I know you've seen this video as many times as I have over the past year or so. (if you haven't though you're definitely in for a real sweet treat...) yet no matter how many times you see it there's always something one can take away from it.
It's easy to recognize the elements of human emotion within just a few seconds of watching it. You are drawn in with the singer's uplifting spirit instantly, inspired by her smile and bravery most definitely, and find new energy from the raw emotion, surely; however there is more to this video than a woman reaching out bravely for the dream held tight to her heart.
But when he dig deeper and reach the core of this video there is something stronger yet. And something that reminds me, as a writer also reaching for a dream, of the depth of human possibility. Of just how far we can go when we think there's not much left. It also reminds me how easy it is to be judgmental of others and, while it’s cliché to say, how often we judge a book by its cover.
